We all know hand talking and wine drinking don’t mix. But after the second glass it can be easy to forget.
As long as you know how to remove the wine stains from your carpet, you should be able to minimize the damage done.
Blot the Stain Immediately.
The quicker you can addressing the spill, the better chance you’ll have of getting the stain out of your carpet. Use a clean white cloth to blot up as much of the red wine as you can right away. Alternate parts of the cloth to always blot using a fresh spot.
Always use an up-and-down blotting motion, not a side-to-side rubbing one. Rubbing will pick up some of the wine but force the rest deeper into the carpet fibers. This will make removing the stain difficult.
Apply Our Stain Remover
Apply our Red Wine Spot & Stain Remover liberally to stained area and allow to sit for 30 minutes. If stain still remains, re-apply spotter to dampen the spot again until it dries.
